World Literature Today: July/August 2026

“Iranian Literature: Persian Antecedents & Contemporary Culture” headlines the July 2026 issue of WLT, with a marquee feature showcasing the work of 2026 Puterbaugh Fellow Haleh Liza Gafori. Elsewhere, the issue presents new work by Kwame Dawes, Carolyn Forché, Yahia Lababidi, Radhika Oberoi, Ayelet Tsabari, and more; conversations with Reyna Grande and Oliver Basciano; plus featured reviews of new books by Amitav Ghosh, Valeria Luiselli, Mo Yan, and more than two dozen other writers.
