Cushion Spring Mechanical Pencil

The nostalgic and basic design of these pencils belies their sophistication - each is equipped with the latest Japanese technology, a "cushion slide mechanism" that prevents the core from breaking (that unpleasant experience of using a mechanical pencil only to have the lead snap).  With the "cushion slide mechanism", a spring releases the lead upward when strong writing pressure is applied - thus preventing breakage and allowing the average user to write fourfold (approximately 65 feet) with just a single click.  0.5mm lead.  Made in Japan.
